MY BASIC INDIVIDUAL COACHING PROGRAMS

The combination of my individual coaching with the PQ tools and framework has proven to be a powerful formula for enabling clients to greatly improve their relationships, productivity, and life satisfaction.

Two-Month Foundational Program

     Including Positive Intelligence (PQ) Training

This two-month program is for clients new to my coaching. It combines ADHD coaching, Positive Intelligence (PQ) Training, and client dedication to daily practice and has proven to be a highly effective way for my clients to improve their life functioning. In two months, they establish an invaluable foundation for ongoing personal growth.

This program includes:

  • eight weekly 45-minute individual Zoom coaching sessions with me

  • access to me between sessions, if desired, via email or text, and up to two 15-minute Zoom or phone “Brief Check-ins” between coaching sessions

  • a motivating “Positive ADHD Thought” in your inbox early each day for 100 days

  • informative “Guide Sheets” on relevant topics provided as needed

  • alerts to potentially helpful upcoming events such as free ADHD webinars and other resources

  • the highly acclaimed six-week Mental Fitness training from Positive Intelligence (PQ) for which individuals otherwise pay $995 to Positive Intelligence (where coaching support is not included).

  • eight weekly 20-minute Zoom “Pod” sessions with me for reviewing your weekly progress. (If you prefer, your Pod can include others of my clients at the same stage in PQ, if such clients are available.)

 

Alternative Two-Month Foundational Program

This two-month alternative program is for individuals who are new to my coaching but have previously completed the PQ six-week training elsewhere. This program combines ADHD coaching, PQ coaching, and client dedication in a way that very effectively helps you sharpen your ability to apply the PQ Operating System to the challenges you encounter, including your ADHD challenges.

This program includes:

  • eight weekly 45-minute individual Zoom coaching sessions with me

  • access to me between sessions, if desired, via email or text, and up to two 15-minute Zoom or phone “Brief Check-ins” between coaching sessions

  • monthly live Continuing Clients Group sessions led by me

  • monthly live PQ “GROW” sessions with Shirzad Chamine

  • the expanding resources of the customizable PQ “GROW” app

  • a motivating “Positive ADHD Thought” in your inbox early each day for 100 days

  • informative “Guide Sheets” on relevant topics provided as needed

  • alerts to potentially helpful upcoming events such as free ADHD webinars and other resources

Programs for Continuing Clients

 

After completing the two-month foundational program, you can choose a program of one, two, three, or four coaching sessions per month, depending on your eagerness to grow and depending on your preferred investment of time and money. 

You are encouraged to continue with weekly coaching for one or two months after the foundational program in order to become firmly grounded in the new tools and routines you have been learning.

As a Continuing Client, you will receive:

  • your personalized individual Zoom coaching sessions

  • access to me between sessions, if desired, via email or text, and up to two 15-minute Zoom or phone “Brief Check-ins” between coaching sessions

  • monthly live Continuing Clients Group sessions led by me

  • the expanding resources of the customizable PQ “GROW” app

  • monthly live PQ “GROW” sessions with Shirzad Chamine

  • informative “Guide Sheets” on relevant topics provided as needed

  • alerts to potentially helpful upcoming events such as free ADHD webinars and other resources

WHY AND HOW COACHING WORKS

Modern science has shown that neurological differences underlie many behavioral and processing challenges. Such challenges often stubbornly persist until we consciously embrace and understand them and discover our unique individual workarounds. Good ADHD coaching can play an important role in this renewal process and in the development of new neural pathways (habits) in the brain.

Other modes of treatment are often also needed with some conditions such as severe anxiety, depression, addiction, etc. But when such conditions stem from unaddressed ADHD, they often resist successful treatment unless the underlying ADHD is also addressed through coaching.  Even when medication (requiring a diagnosis and a doctor’s prescription) is being used as one part of an individual’s ADHD treatment, psychiatrists remind us, “Pills don’t teach skills.”  Good ADHD coaching meets the need for skills development, improved self-awareness, and increased self-confidence.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

Individual coaching involves slowing down and stepping back enough to carefully examine and come to understand how one is approaching one’s challenges and what other options exist. This involves identifying patterns in one’s thinking and behavior, and experimenting with alternatives.

For most people, this fundamental exploration is made much easier if they have the non-judgmental support of a coach who is genuinely curious about how they are experiencing life and how they would like their life to be. As the coach asks clarifying questions, clients gain insights about their thoughts, reactions, behaviors, and intentions.

In the process, they often shift to an entirely new self-concept which leads to reduced anxiety and a greater sense of meaning, purpose, and peace. For most coaching clients, this process takes some time and effort. Individuals who are ready to seriously work in a sustained way on their personal development are the ones who benefit most from coaching.
